The SZM
digital stereomicroscope or
binocular loupe is a device created specifically for the research and industry sectors.
The SZM-D maintains all the optical characteristics of the SZM series with the addition of the 1.3MPX CMOS
digital camera and connection to a PC via
USB .
It is a stereomicroscope with a 360º rotatable
binocular head and 45º inclined with
10X / 20mm wide field
eyepieces , mounted or inserted in a binocular head. The zoom lens moves in a range of
0.7 to 4.5X , which achieves an optical magnification of
up to 45X, reaching up to 180X with accessory eyepieces. The
focus is graduated through two lateral controls and corresponds to a rack and pinion system.
The
lighting , in this case, is
incident and transmitted with a
halogen bulb and intensity regulation by separate controls. With this stereo microscope and its column base stand format, we achieve a working distance of
100mm . The
stage incorporates a white and a black disc, together with the
clamps for holding the sample.
Regarding the digital characteristics, the
CMOS camera is integrated in the head. It has a
1.3 Megapixel resolution and captures 15 frames / second in maximum resolution. It allows manual or automatic control of exposure and white balance, as well as image size, brightness, gain, exposure time and color.
Export of screenshots and visualization on PC via
USB cable . The equipment incorporates the computer program or
software "Optika Vision Lite", in CD-Room format, which allows the visualization, management and capture of the desired images.
Optical and mechanical characteristics:
