This variant of the SZM series is specially adapted for use in
gemology , that is, for the observation of
precious stones and minerals .
The
SZM-GEM series incorporates wide field or
WF 10X / 20mm eyepieces, in a
360º rotating head that can be
binocular or trinocular depending on the model, in the case of models with trinocular, they are adapted to take
photography through a CCD camera or a Reflex.
The
lens is designed with a continuous zoom between
0.7 and 4.5X (7X to 45X) , this feature and the ability
to adjust the focus will allow you to observe the samples in detail. Which can be living or dead matter depending on the specialty in question. The
working distance in all models is 100mm / 10cm.
Lighting is the most unique feature, consisting of 12V dichroic
halogen incident lighting .
Transmitted lighting
with LED diffuser for
bright field and with LED ring for
dark field . In this way you can choose between lighting in bright field, dark field or both types. The
intensity of both incident and transmitted lighting is
adjustable through the
controls on the side of the base.
The
support is in column and the
focus system is based on a
rack and pinion system with controls on both sides of the support. For observation in
the dark field, it includes special tweezers to hold the sample on top of the LED's ring.
Common features: - Head: Inclined 45º and Swivel 360º
- Interpupillary distance: adjustable from 51 to 75mm
- Dioptric compensation: Both eyepieces
- Eyepieces: WF 10X / 20mm
- Objective: achromatic parafocal zoom 0.7x-4.5x
- Stage: Tweezers and special tweezers or clip for gemology
- Focus: Rack and pinion
