Oxide-reduction reactions are a natural process that affects all types of media. The assessment of the oxide-reduction and the electrical potential they generate is used as a quality controller for water and liquid media.
The oxidation-reduction process is based on the transfer of electrons from one medium or body to another. The element that gives up these electrons becomes a rusty body.
In liquid systems, the oxide-reduction system may be accelerated by the presence of biological activity, and in this case it may be a sign of poor water conditions and even putrefaction or eutrophication.
We will use these devices to measure the electrical potential of the liquid, which has a direct relationship with the electrons that have been emitted into the medium in the oxidation-reduction process.
