Photometers are an optical measuring instrument which indirectly measures concentrations of certain molecules that are in solution.
This instrument is used to determine the concentration of certain substances or molecules such as chlorine, ammonium, phosphate, iron, etc. present in an aqueous solution, for example in swimming pools, ponds, aquariums and aquaculture tanks.
The concentration measurement is made indirectly through the intensity of the light emitted by the instrument, and the result is expressed in mg / L.
