Prexiso P80 distance meter

Prexiso P80 is the most versatile laser distance meter in the Leica Prexiso range. It allows to take any measurement accurately and quickly. It is enough to point the laser towards the point to be measured, and press the measurement button to obtain correct measurements without assistance. Therefore, it is a useful instrument for both professional and domestic use. It has an accessory tab that can be removed to accurately measure edges and angles, so that it is possible to reach those points of difficult access that a current manual meter does not reach, such as stairwells and roof vertices. In those cases where measurements are made from corners or angles, the meter automatically detects the position of the support.
The Prexiso P80 distance meter also performs calculations such as additions, subtractions, computation of both the area and the volume, and has two different types of Pythagoras function. Thanks to these functions, the amount of material needed to carry out a job or work can be calculated without error margin (for example, when laying tiles, wall paper, parquet or laminate flooring, or during wall bleaching) or, simply, check the correct alignment of a painting or of the domestic furniture during the redecoration processes.
With the Prexiso P80 measurements can be taken in different directions, both forward and backward with respect to the position adopted. The results of each measurement can be obtained in various units of measurement (meters, inches, and feet). It has a built-in memory that stores the last 10 measurements made with the distance meter. The results of each measurement are clearly displayed on the LCD of the device, whose low consumption increases the autonomy of use of the device. For price and performance, it is a good compromise between affordability and reliability.
