The REED R1930 light meter facilitates the determination of light intensity using a silicone photocell integrated into the instrument, which converts the brightness into a measurable electrical signal.

The instrument allows the conversion of Lux illuminance units into Footcandle, a unit that is widely used in the medium of photography, film and television. It is also widely used in museums, interior design projects, in the construction industry by lighting designers and installers.

It presents the Max, Min and Hold functions, to facilitate the analysis of the readings. One (1) Lux unit equals 0.092903 Fc.
