The REED SD-8205 vibrometer measures the intensity of vibrations and is ideal as part of preventive maintenance for rotating equipment, industrial facilities or production machinery. In addition to the speed of vibration, it measures the acceleration of movement and displacement.
The equipment determines the maximum and minimum value, retaining it on the screen, for comparison with current values. The "Hold" function keeps reading for discussion and decision making.
The vibration measurement is carried out by means of a vibration probe connected through a fixed cable to the equipment, with an extension of 1.2 meters. It is mainly used in the evaluation of rotating equipment such as fans, pumps, turbines, compressors, motors, etc., in the adjustment of preventive maintenance programs. It has a memory card for recording information (maximum 16 Gb) and software for data analysis and presentation.
