Figure from the Les Icônes collection representing the launch of the rocket devised by Professor Tornasol.
The emblematic figure of "Les icônes" is the most representative of the entire series The Adventures of Tintin: The Moon Rocket.
This rocket is the icon of icons. The rocket has been imagined beyond its usual function as a decorative object by linking it with adventure as it is the moment of takeoff. These are the first seconds of the journey, the precise moment when the rocket takes off from the ground, that is, the most intense moment for the characters who are literally crushed by acceleration and end up losing consciousness (page 50, panel A1 and page 60). vignette A2 from the album Objectif Lune).
The lunar rocket figure, invented by Litmus, is made of resin and painted by hand. It is a numbered and certified edition.
