SkyWatcher BlackDiamond Refractor 120 NEQ5 SynScan Telescope

The SkyWatcher Diamond Back series offers optical tubes of high optical quality, which, mounted with the GOTO NEQ5 and EQ3 equatorial mounts, become complete astronomical observatories within the reach of a hobbyist or individual.

The Black Diamond Optical Tube is a 120mm diameter refractor , 1000mm focal length and f / 8.3 focal ratio. Multi-coated and anti-reflective achromatic optics, which guarantees greater contrast and sharpness of the image. The optical tube incorporates 25mm (40X) and 10mm (100x) eyepieces with a 90º diagonal included. It also includes the 6x30 search engine.
The GOTO NEQ5 SynScan mount is a computerized equatorial mount that offers a practical alignment system based on three light objects. Once the alignment is established, more than 43,000 celestial objects can be tracked . It has a positioning precision of 1 minute of arc and adjustable speed to 0.25x, 0.50x, 0.75x and 1x. It includes a tripod made of steel , adjustable and very stable. The weight of the set is 28kg and the 220V transformer is included.
The mount includes the SynScan Computer controller , which will allow easy control of your telescope through your PC via RS-232 connection to the remote control. This same guide port (AUTO-GUIDER) will be useful if you want to use this telescope for astrophotography . The command responds immediately to the contact of any key. There is also the possibility of incorporating a GPS into the equipment to facilitate data entry into the system. The software will always be upgradeable via the web.
