Designed by Al
Nagler in the 1980s, this range of
Tele Vue eyepieces marked a revolution in wide-field eyepieces. The sensation of space walk or
panoramic vision thanks to its
82º field , together with the most refined optical treatment, achieved an almost perfect eyepiece for
comfortable, clear vision and with the feeling that the user is not using a telescope to see those incredible details of space.
If we go into optical details, the Nagler eyepieces present an
82º field of view classified as a large panoramic field. Formed by
7 or 6 lenses in a group of 4 and classified into 3 different groups (4,5 and 6) according to their focal length and eye relief.
The
multi-layer and multi-coated optical treatment is completed with a highly efficient
anti-reflective treatment and
blackened edges or contours . This optical advance results in maximum
sharpness and contrast across the entire field of view, as well as
exceptional chromaticism .
Finally comment on the versatility of adaptation to the telescope and to additional extenders, both for the eyepieces in both the 1.25 "and 2" models.
