Terrestrial telescopes smaller than 70mm aperture are smaller and more compact and also with less zoom range. They are more portable equipment and very suitable for more punctual observation or if we want to be less loaded.
These spotting scopes have less than 70mm of aperture and a zoom range of 15 to 50X.
In general, they are more compact and less heavy telescopes, so they can also be held on lighter tripods. In this way we can have much more portable observation sets, especially if we want more dynamic observation.
As they are telescopes with less zoom range, they are not prepared for large distances of more than 2km, nor for great detail at great distances. Now, they are perfect for use in natural environments such as marshes and the like, because the distance between observer and animal is usually not as great.
The aperture between 50 and 65mm is a bit fair for observation with the zoom at maximum or in very poor light conditions, but instead it is perfect for all observation times and even practices such as shooting.
