Ultrasonic Anemometer for Davis Vantage Pro 2

The new Davis 6415 wind speed and direction measurement sensor works using ultrasound , is weather resistant, robust, without the need for periodic maintenance and has a solar panel as a supplementary power source.

Thanks to the advanced technology of the ultrasonic anemometer, compatible for the Davis Vantage Pro 2 station , we will obtain the wind speed and direction data with the maximum reliability and precision. To determine the speed and direction of the wind, the sensor emits ultrasonic pulses and then measures the time elapsed between emission and reception of these pulses.

It is designed so that it can be replaced , without the need for another component or transmitter, to the standard cup anemometer of the Davis Vantage Pro 2.

The Davis 6415 sensor is made of materials resistant to any weather conditions and features a robust design to ensure high resistance to the elements, with no moving parts that can fall, break or freeze, minimizing the need for periodic maintenance. Its good performance makes it ideal for most applications on roads, buildings, ski slopes, theme parks, ports, etc.
