A watch is an instrument that is used to measure time, dividing it into hours, minutes and seconds.
The classic watch is made up of machinery that moves uniformly, communicating the movement with the hands of the clock that indicate the hour, the minutes and the seconds.
Currently digital watches have taken over from the classic and analog, with clearly visible displays that facilitate the reading of the time and incorporate other possibilities such as the stopwatch and alarm.
Hourglasses still have a simpler operating mechanism, it is a funnel-shaped container that contains sand inside. By turning the clock, the sand slowly falls until it is exhausted. The time it takes to run out is the one that marks each hourglass.
