Meteorological stations are facilities used to measure and record meteorological variables and thus be able to make accurate weather predictions (based on observations made).
We have two types of meteorological stations, manual / analog and automatic.
The manual stations incorporate fully analog meteorological instruments, which are designed to measure each of the variables of interest (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure and rain.) The summit of a manual meteorological station is the official meteorological observatory, this is the set of all the instruments that, when properly installed, allow the most accurate meteorological observations possible.
The digital or automatic meteorological stations allow the measurements of all these variables but electronically or digitally, capturing the signal from various exterior and interior sensors that are the ones that make the correct measurements.
