ZWO ASI 120M USB 2.0 CCD Camera

The ZWO brand designs its first range of CCD cameras for planetary use and self-guiding with 1.2mpx resolution. It has a 1/3 "1.2mpx sensor which gives its best performance for astronomical planet photography.
The most important shooting and processing characteristics are that the speed is 60 frames per second and 12-bit depth. At a resolution of 640x480px the acquisition speed increases to 133 images / second.
The camera is available in monochrome and color versions. It incorporates a standard ST4 port and USB 2.0 with 2m cable. It also incorporates a T2 M42 inlet thread, then a converter goes from this thread to 31.7mm for the filter cap.
The CD with the corresponding software and drives for the use of the Camera are also provided. The ASCOM driver for this camera is available. However, it requires the prior installation of the ZWO SDK (Software Development Kit), downloadable free of charge on its website.
For the acquisition of planetary videos, it includes free software FireCapture, by Torsten Edelmann, which natively supports ZWO cameras.
