ZWO ASI 183 USB 3.0 CCD Camera

The ASI 183 CCD camera incorporates a 1 "20.1 mpx SONY CCD sensor, to obtain the highest quality in your astronomical photographs. The resolution of the sensor is 5496 x 3672 px , which is equivalent to these 20.1mpx with a 19 frame / sec rate at 12-bit depth Pixel length is 2.4 microns.
This definition and speed makes it a high-performance camera for astronomical photography of planets and deep skies.
The refrigerated version is designed to be able to take long-exposure astronomical photography, therefore in the deep sky. A functionality that is used to overheating the interior of the chamber and therefore it is necessary to compensate the internal temperature. With this thermoelectric cooling system it is possible to decrease by -40 / -45ºC and thus the working time with the camera can be increased.

The CD with the corresponding software and drives for the use of the Camera are also provided. The ASCOM driver for this camera is available. However, it requires the prior installation of the ZWO SDK (Software Development Kit), downloadable free of charge on its website.
For the acquisition of planetary videos , it includes free software FireCapture, by Torsten Edelmann, which natively supports ZWO cameras.
