ZWO ASI 385 Pro Color Cooled USB 3.0 CCD Camera

The ZWO 185MC CCD camera is a compact and accurate solution for planetary, deep sky and solar imaging and self-guidance. The precision of the 1/2 "color IMX 385 CMOS sensor detects more bright spots and stars in the sky, an essential characteristic for good guidance , even in short exposures. The cooling of this Pro version turns it into a camera with great performance for deep sky photography and long exposures .
The cooling of the chamber is independent of its operation, that is, it can be used without a feeder like a normal chamber and if we want the refrigerator to work, we have to externally feed it with an optional transformer .

The camera resolution is 1936x1096 or 2.1mpx and the pixel size is 3.75 microns. Available in color version. It reaches the speed of 120 frames / second , with a depth of 10 bits. Acquisition rate reaches 575 frames / second at 320 x 240 pixels
It incorporates a standard ST4 port and USB 3.0 with 2m cable. It also incorporates a T2 M42 inlet thread, then a converter goes from this thread to 31.7mm for the filter cap.
The CD with the corresponding software and drives for the use of the Camera are also provided. The ASCOM driver for this camera is available. However, it requires the prior installation of the ZWO SDK (Software Development Kit), downloadable free of charge on its website.
For the acquisition of planetary videos, it includes free software FireCapture , by Torsten Edelmann, which natively supports ZWO cameras.
